One of the most well-known and influential scholars, writers, and activists alive, Dr. West is currently the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Professor of Philosophy and Christian Practice at Union Theological Seminary and holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. He is the author of 20 books on race, politics, social justice, and Black history, is a regular guest on broadcast television, and has appeared in over 25 documentaries. West is also the 2021-2022 Presidential Visiting Scholar at The New School, and will be giving a public lecture on March 24.
